This time, I stayed at a luxury hotel to reward myself for all the hard work I’ve put in over the past year.
It’s easy to forget spending money on experiences and space when you’re busy with work and time, but having a luxury once a year can give you the energy to live.
This hotel is a Singaporean luxury hotel that opened in May 2023. I got the impression that most of the guests were foreigners (all the people in the lobby etc. were foreigners lol) There is also a direct bus from Haneda Airport, so inbound demand is probably high.
I checked in at the lobby on the 18th floor (the view from here is spectacular) and was guided to my room.
The moment you enter the room and open the curtains (automatic), you’ll see a huge panoramic view that you won’t be able to blink until your eyes burn it into your eyes. The unobstructed view is amazing.
Each and every one of the furnishings in the room looks like it’s of high quality, so you can feel like you’re in a luxurious space.
There is also a restaurant inside the hotel, but this time we used in-room dining.
I ordered “Domestic beef sirloin steak bowl 150g” for 8,000 yen. The meat was so tender that it could be cut with chopsticks, and the sweet fat wasn’t too strong, so it could probably be served at an international conference as it is. That was the quality. (Well, you’ll have to pay for it lol) The shishito peppers that come with it are a nice accent.
